A Secondary Suite refers to a separate living space within a house that is designed for and occupied by tenants. This living space has its own facilities, such as a kitchen, bedroom(s) and bathroom.
What are some benefits of Secondary Suites?
This can provide some financial relief to the property owner, while also providing support to others in need of a home during our housing shortages across the globe.
Who qualifies for a Secondary Suite?
According to Port McNeill bylaw 705, 2021: Part 8.1 Secondary Suites are permitted in R-1, R-2, R-4, and CD-1 Zones.
