DESCRIPTION:The Port McNeill Fire Department would like to welcome everyone out to the Port McNeill Fire hall for our annual Charity BBQ and Car Wash for Wounded Warriors Canada. We are teaming up with Port McNeill RCMP\, BCEHS\, Town of Port McNeill\, and Port McNeill Emergency Support Services.\n \n\n\nThe Wounded Warrior Run BC starts in Port Hardy on February 25th and stops in Port McNeill as they make their way down to Victoria on March 3rd. They are raising awareness and funds for Veterans and First responders dealing with PTSD. Through their fundraising and programs they help individuals and families feel SAFE SUPPORTED and UNDERSTOOD.\n\n\n \nCome on out\, enjoy some good food and get the vehicles shined up for spring while helping battle PTSD one step at a time #inthistogether

SUMMARY:Wounded Warriors BBQ Lunch
DESCRIPTION:The Wounded Warrior Run BC\, initiated in 2013 by two Canadian Armed Forces members\, aims to raise funds and awareness for Wounded Warriors Canada. Over the years\, this run has grown into an annual event. A dedicated team of eight runners takes on a relay-style challenge\, traversing the entire length of Vancouver Island in eight consecutive days\, covering a remarkable 800 kilometers. \nJoin us at the Port McNeill Legion as our runners join us for lunch. \nSunday\, February 25th  \n11:00am at the Port McNeill Legion \n$10 Burgers \nAll proceeds and donations go directly to the Wounded Warriors Run.
