DESCRIPTION:*** Important Update ***\nSafety first!\n \nDue to the current weather forecast\, we must postpone the fireworks display.\n\n\n​We apologize for any disappointment\, but the conditions are simply not safe for the show to go on Friday.\n\n\n​The fireworks are now scheduled for Saturday night\, November 1st!\n​We look forward to seeing you then! Have a wonderful and safe Halloween and a fun time trick-or-treating!\n\n  \nJoin us for our Annual Fireworks and Bonfire at the Community Hall.  \nFree Hot Dogs and Hot Chocolate will be available starting at 7pm. \nThe Fireworks show starts at 7:30pm! \nSee you all there!

Short days ago\n\n\nWe lived\, felt dawn\, saw sunset glow\,\n\n\n Loved and were loved\, and now we lie\,\n\n\n In Flanders fields.\n\n\n \n\n\nTake up our quarrel with the foe:\n\n\nTo you from failing hands we throw\n\n\n The torch; be yours to hold it high.\n\n\n If ye break faith with us who die\n\n\nWe shall not sleep\, though poppies grow\n\n\n In Flanders fields.”\n\n\n \n\n\n~ Lieutenant Colonal John McCrae\n\n\n \n\n\nPlease join us at the Port McNeill Cenotaph as we take some time to remember those that gave their lives for ours. \n\n\n \n\n\nThe parade from the Legion down to the cenotaph starts off at 10:38\n\n\n \n\n\nSpectators should gather at the cenotaph before the parade arrives at 10:45\n\n\n \n\n\nThe ceremony begins at 10:50.\n\n\n \n\n\nWreath laying takes place during the ceremony at 11:10. After that we do the closing hymn and God Save the King
