This notice is to inform that the Western Forest Products Inc., Port McNeill Forest Operation will be commencing a wildfire hazard abatement in the coming weeks. The timing of the activities will be heavily dependent on the local fire weather indices and atmospheric venting conditions. WFP will be operating in accordance with our Resource Management Burn Plans (approved by BC Wildfire) and the Open Burning Smoke Control Regulation.
