Wind warning issued for: North Vancouver Island, B.C. (081200)
Current details: Very strong wind gusts that may cause damage are expected or occurring.
When: Early this evening until Midnight.
Where: Exposed coastal sections of North Vancouver Island.
Hazards: Winds near 90 km/h gusting to 110.
Remarks: A strong storm system approaching the BC Coast will reach Vancouver Island later today, bringing very strong southeasterly winds to exposed coastal areas. Winds are expected to ease somewhat near midnight.
High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break.
